  • NONPROFIT EXHIBITOR APPLICATION

     

    Thank you for your interest in The Gowanus Block Party (the “Event”). Only applications that are submitted by the specified deadlines will be processed. 


    Nonprofit organizations are not charged a vendor fee but space is very limited so please respond quickly.

    GENERAL RULES

    • Your space is non-transferable.  You are prohibited from selling your space or sharing your space with a third party.  
    • The Event will happen, rain or shine.
    • Your booth must be set up in the exact location as described in the site plan.
    • You are responsible for furnishing all tents, signage, generators, and merchandise for your booth.  Vendor fee does not include electricity. Tables and chairs are available for rent from CFP.
    • Amplified sound is not permitted at any booth.
    • No beverages may be sold, sampled, or given away at the Event unless permission has been granted in writing by CFP.
    • All permits for the Event must be valid on the exact date, September 14, 2019.
    • All permits for the Event must be available onsite for inspection the day of the Event.
    • All vendors must be set up and ready to go at Noon on the day of the Event and must not break down prior to 6pm.
    • We request that vendors break down as quickly as possible beginning at 6pm.

     

    Note: This application is for nonprofit exhibitors only.  Food vendors or retail vendors, please contact us for the correct application.

     

    DOCUMENTATION

    • All Nonprofit organizations that will be engaging in monetary transactions or soliciting monetary donations MUST obtain a valid Public Solicitation License from the Human Resources Administration (HRA) / Dept of Social Services in order to participate.  To obtain an application please visit this link, or call 212-331-5166.  You must provide a copy of your Public Solicitation License to CFP if you are engaging in transactions.
    • All Nonprofit organizations must provide proof of 501(c)(3) status.
    • Copies of permits must be submitted by August 1

     

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    Additional information will be sent prior to the event.  Information will include load in instructions, timing, marketing information, and other helpful info.


    PARTICIPATION FEE

    A standard booth space at Gowanus Block Party is 10’ x 10’.  

    Vendor Fee: $0

     

    RENTAL FEE

    If you would like to rent tables or chairs, please fillout the sections below. Tables and chairs will be made available to vendors at load-in. We will not have tables or chairs available to rent day of, so please be sure and reserve with your application.

  • In connection with the Gowanus Block Party, I / we agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend City Farm Presents, LLC and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents for any cost loss or damage claimed by any third party as a result of my / our activities, including any fines due to lack of permits.  I / We agree to comply with the terms and provisions set forth in this Application, and to comply with the Rules of the Gowanus Block Party.


    By signing this application, I / we attest that we have read and understand the rules as set forth in this agreement. I / we also attest that the information provided within this application is true and accurate and that I / we will be held liable for any falsified information.  I / We also understand that acceptance is not guaranteed and City Farm Presents, LLC has a right to deny my / our application.
