  • This funding request form applies to any SLC student making a request for funding through the Student Association of St. Lawrence College. All requests should be made in advance of the event they are funding. Funding requests are subject to Student Association Executive approval... not all fields may relate to your request, fill them in as best you can.

    Please Note: Paper copies of this form may be requested from the Student Association Front Desk. Assistance can be provided for filling out the forms by emailing safunding@sl.on.ca

  • Use the following questions to as completely as possible outline your request. This is the information that will be used to assess your request on its merits. This is your chance to explain why these funds are important to your success. Please use it.

  • If applicable, attach a completed student event assessment form (for students hosting public events on campus).

  • Those requesting funds from the Student Association must clearly detail their plans for reporting on the outcomes of the activities our funds are supporting. This may include:

    • A presentation
    • Photographs or videos
    • Detailed documents or reports
    • A blog or article made available for public viewing
    • Any other easily consumed media sharable in digital format
    • Any reasonable combination of the above

  • Please note: It will be the responsibility of those receiving funding to ensure the outcomes of activities are documented and made available to the Student Association by the date above. This date must be within 1 month of the date of the event or activity and/or the receipt of funds.

    To ignore any policy represented on this form, funding guidelines, and/or club policies may negatively affect the likelihood of the same group receiving requested funds in the future.

    By agreeing to the policies represented in the funding request guidelines oneself and the parties involved are allowing permission for all digital media to be used as Student Association marketing material both online and printed.

    The Student Association of St. Lawrence College, Kingston Campus and the funding recipients of St. Lawrence College, Kingston Campus have agreed upon the accuracy of all above information and both parties agree to adhere to the presented guidelines.

    By signing this and all accompanying documents we certify that we have read the Funding Request Guidelines thoroughly and carefully and fully understand the requirements for application, reimbursement, funding allocation, and reporting on funding outcomes. We fully understand our responsibility to follow all applicable Student Association or St. Lawrence College Policies and Procedures.
