This year’s festival & powwow are being presented in loving memory of the Rev. Dr. Akilah Karima. Dr. Akilah, founder of SOF CORE’s Int’l & Culture Festival Expo, passed away on March 16, 2019 from secondary breast cancer (Stage 4 brain cancer). Since her transition, The World Alliance of Indigenous Peoples is working extremely hard to keep her legacy alive. This is why we are asking anyone wishing to assist us in our efforts, to sponsor SOF CORE's Annual Festival EXPO & Native American Intertribal Powwow. Your donations will help us continue to Rev. Dr. Akilah Karima's legacy, raise secondary breast cancer awareness and bring this very dynamic festival to the York, PA community where Akilah grew up.
