  • Our Vision: To Educate, Empower, and Elevate women (ages 6-17) in underrepresented areas by providing resources for them to take ownership of their lives. We aim to provide women with adequate tools necessary to achieve their career goals, commission them to flourish psychologically, and expose them to diverse opportunities.

    History: We launched in January of 2018, and are currently based in Houston, Texas. Adeiur is sphere headed by our Board of Directors. Our name, Adeiur, is derived from the Yoruba word, ‘Ade’ meaning crown, and the French word ‘Dieu’ meaning God. When the two words are combined, Adeiur is a term that symbolizes how women are ‘crown of God’ and should not only be seen as such, but also hold themselves to such regards.

    Education: Expose women (ages 6-30) to a diverse career portfolio and introduce them to tools necessary to attain higher education.

    Empowerment: Enable women to feel empowered and take ownership of their lives.

    Elevation: Commission women to rise spiritually, mentally, and intellectually.

  • General Expectations:

    • Agree to a (1) year commitment in your leadership role.
    • Attend Bi-monthly meetings.
    • Follow up on assigned action items.
    • Abide by Adeiur’s business goals.
    • Attend all Adeiur meetings unless prior communication has been made to Director.
    • Uphold the Adeiur Vision.

  • Leadership Position Description

    Membership & Engagement Coordinator:

    • Generates and aligns the Adeiur curriculum to align with the Adeiur’s vision of education, empowerment, and elevation.
    • Gathers data analytics on the effectiveness of the Adeiur programs.
    • Create think tanks for new and creative programs to execute Adeiur’s mission.
    • Coordinates with leadership team for resources and to gain alignment with all programs.
    • Creates Curriculum Calendar for each event. 
    • Responsible for all membership engagement and retention for Adeiur
    • Foster relationship with local schools by scheduling a meetings with leaders on Adeiur mission.
    • Schedule meeting with schools to discuss diverse educational and professional development.
    • Responsible for keeping Adeiur membership database.
    • Create a calendar for BOD to speak at local schools. 
    • Generates Curriculum/ Membership Effectiveness Status Report.

    Marketing Coordinator:

    • Generate and approve all publication for Adeiur.
    • Supervise all communication and publication associated with Adeiur.
    • Responsible for spreading knowledge of Adeiur and its co-sponsored events to partners and members via email, personal announcements and other forums.
    • Coordinates with leadership team for resources and to gain alignment with all programs.
    • Manages all Adeiur Social platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter.
    • Updates Adeiur website monthly.
    • Creates monthly content calendar.
    • Generates Quarterly Marketing Status Reports.

    Philanthropic Enterprise Coordinator:

    • Generates Solicitation Packets.
    • Applys to 3 full to Grants per month.
    • Seeks Corporate/ Partnership/ Business contact.
    • Solicits funds and resources from personal, public and private companies for all Adeiur programs.
    • Generates fundraising ideas to solicit funds for Adeiur.
    • Manages all of Adeiur resources with the assistance of the Adeiur Leadership board.
    • Deposit all funds of Adeiur into the Adeiur Checking account and/or credit union.
    • Have authority to collect and disburse such funds as approved by Adeiur leadership.
    • Have authority, along with Adeiur Director, one of two signatories on all Adeiur accounts.
    • Keep a full and accurate record of all financial transactions of Adeiur and be prepared at all times to present to the general assembly with a complete and accurate account of the treasury.
    • Attend all funding meetings and interviews and officially represent the financial interests and goals of Adeiur.
    • Work with all Adeiur Leadership team to  create a reasonable budget based on need for each department for the targeted year.
    • Oversee the planning of every event and program of Adeiur in the area of funding,
      Provides sponsors with tax exempt code.
      Generates financial status reports.
