Dewey's Student Group Discount Card Registration

Dewey's is pleased to offer a discount for your membership cards, as well as a free card printing service!  Click along to learn more and to register.

    Free Fries for your Members

    All SU registered student groups can include our Free Fries promotion as a student group membership card perk. For the 2025/2026 academic year, your members can receive a free order of chips & salsa (with purchase) at their table of 4 people or more at Dewey's. 

    Free Membership Card Printing

    Dewey's is also pleased to offer a free optional membership card printing service to all SU registered student groups.

    Membership cards are printed at SUBprint (located in SUB's lower level) using a similar style & material to business cards.

    In exchange for free membership card printing, we require you to host at least one large event (over 50 people) or two small events (less than 50 people) per term at Room at the Top or Dewey's.

    We do not require you to sign any sort of exclusive agreement with us (and we would discourage you from signing an exclusive agreement from anywhere that locks yourself in).

    Free Membership Card Printing

    In exchange for producing your membership cards at no charge, the Dewey's "free fries" promotion is to be included as a prominent feature of the card. 

    The Dewey's logo must be of at least equal size to all other discounts on the card -- no external parties should appear more prominently in size or placement.

    A typical card design would include:

    • one side of the card used to promote your student group itself (e.g your group name, logo, academic year, contact information and/or other general information)
    • the other side of the card used to list discounts.

    That said, you are free to design the card in any way you'd like, as long as the prominence guidelines listed above are followed and the card is sized to a standard 2" x 3.5" business card.

    Free Chips & Salsa deal

    All SU registered student groups can include our Free Chips & Salsa promotion as a membership card benefit for your members. We ask that your cards follow the following guidelines:

    If you want to include a discount description on your card, please include it as follows:
    Free chips & salsa (with purchase) for your table of 4 or more.

    Membership cards must expire no later than August 31, 2026.
    (Please contact us in Summer 2026 for details about discounts available for the following year.)

    Cards should include the Dewey's logo. You can download our logo files here.

    Our logos cannot be used for any other purposes without our permission.

    Please ensure your members are aware that certain conditions apply. For our discount, the key condition is that there is a limit of one redemption per person and table group, per day. The easiest way to communicate this is usually to include a statement like "house rules apply" somewhere on your card.

    Once you have designed your membership card, click NEXT to complete a short information form and submit a copy of your card's design. Please submit the form before you begin distributing your cards so that we can identify it in our establishments!

    Once you have designed your membership card, click NEXT to complete a short information form and submit a proof of your card's design. The card's content requirements have been outlined in the previous pages of this form.

    As mentioned on a previous page, cards are printed on paper cardstock in "business card" style at SUBprint. Click here for some basic design specifications. Please contact SUBprint directly for more detailed design questions.

    Once you have submitted this form and we have reviewed your card design, we will email you instructions to claim your free printing at SUBprint. You will then need to submit your print job directly to SUBprint on your own schedule. SUBprint can usually have your cards printed next-day, but we recommend giving yourself some extra time in case there are any issues with your design.

    In exchange for printing your membership cards for free, your group agrees to hold one large event (over 50 people) or two small events (less than 50 people) in Room at the Top or Dewey's in both the upcoming Fall Term and Winter Term.  Your group is responsible for contacting our team to arrange appropriate dates & event details.  Preferred event dates are always subject to availability -- if you have specific dates (or days of the week) of interest, you should contact us as far in advance as possible.  Please sign below to indicate your agreement to these terms.
