Chief of Staff: The Chief of Staff works very closely with the Secretary-General and Director-General in hiring Staff members for the conference. They are tasked with ensuring backgrounders are submitted on time, organizing the Staff's logistics, and many other Staff related assortments which ensure all goes well in terms of Staffing.
USG of Logistics: The Under-Secretary-General of Logistics is responsible for all conference logistics. This includes but is not limited to hotel contracts and negotiations, room planning and assignment, organizing sponsorships, and a multitude of other logistical issues or requirements of the conference. These span from keeping spreadsheets organized, getting room keys, and a variety of other assortments. Throughout the span of the conference, the USG of Logistics will work very closely with the USG of Conference.
USG of Committees: The Under-Secretary-General of Committees oversees all committee procedure, keeps track of and edits Staff backgrounders, and works closely with Staff throughout the year in order to ensure that the committees are properly organized and run. They must have a great eye for detail and proficient writing skills.
USG of Delegate Affairs: The Under-Secretary-General of Delegate Affairs handles all registration, country assignments, position papers, committee matrix, and a multitude of other delegate needs. They will also be responsible for sponsor teacher communication.
USG of Conference: The Under-Secretary-General of Conference works very closely with the Secretary-General. They are charged with the duties of printing placards, nametags, bringing in projectors, and a multitude of other things in relation to the previously listed assortments. In addition to these duties, the USG of Conference is tasked with managing the conference's funds, processing payments, and overseeing accounts. The USG of Conference must have an eye for detail and be good with numbers. Further, the USG of Conference also works closely with the USG of Logistics in terms of hotel logistics and bookings.
USG of Marketing: The Under-Secretary-General of Marketing's responsibility is generally centered around promoting the conference. This comes in terms of delegate attraction, potential news coverage, getting the word out about CAIMUN, and working alongside the USG of Media in creating promotional content to do so. The USG of Marketing must have strong interpersonal skills and other qualities that will aid them in marketing the conference in order to attract delegates.
USG of Media and IT: The Under-Secretary-General of Media is charged with hiring and managing a team of photographers and videographers for the conference. They must be proficient in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and general photo and video editing. The USG of Media is primarily tasked with creating graphics, videos, and promotional media content for the conference. Throughout the span of the conference, they will work closely with the USG of Marketing in creating media to fulfill marketing needs. Further, they will also work with the USG of Conference to design and print placards, nametags, and manifold of other assortments relating to media.
