• INDIVIDUAL SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT (SPORTING BLUE) AWARDS

    Students can be nominated in sports delivered by School Sport Victoria in the interschool sport program or the Team Vic state representative program in the calendar year of the nomination.

    Note, students cannot be nominated for sports not delivered by School Sport Victoria.

    Nominations for students with disability are encouraged, under a mutliclass category for certain sports and at the Awards panel's discretion for all other sports.

    Who can nominate? 
    Nominations will only be considered if submitted by any of the following nominators:

    • School Principal
    • School teacher or school staff member
    • School Sport Victoria coordinators or staff members
    • Team Vic, team officials
    • State Sporting Organisation representative
    • Local sports club representative

    A nomination will not be considered if submitted by anyone other than any of the above-prescribed nominators (eg: student, parent or family member submissions will not be assessed). 

    All nominations must include the student's school Principal's endorsement and those without this endorsement will not be considered.

  • Is the nominee at a government school?*

  • Thank you for your submission. The Victorian Department of Education recognises the outstanding sporting performances of government school primary and secondary students, teachers and schools each year.

    Because the student being nominated is not from a Goverment school, they are inelligible to nominate.
