Summer Chess at the Kiddie Science Lab is a fun and dynamic program presented by Brooklyn-based chess teacher, player and tournament director/organizer, Simon Rudowski. This program engages multi-age chess players in mastering basic piece movements, recording and analizing game moves, and practicing game-winning strategies against other players.

Summer Chess meets on the following Thursdays, 1pm to 2:15pm and is geared for age 8 and up: July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th. Register for one or more workshops, discount applied when registering for full 8-week program.
Improve your skills and rating by participating in the Summer Chess Mini Tournaments. July 16th & 30th, August 13th & 27th @ 2pm. Three rounds of play, rated and unrated players welcome. Cumulative scoring for end-of-summer awards.
