  • AP41 Application Form - Introduction

  • Elmhurst Energy Systems shall carry out its accreditation and certification activities with impartiality, manage conflicts of interest and ensure objectivity.

    Please read and fully complete this application, providing us with all the information required (Insufficient detail and missing documents may result in applications being delayed).

    Note about Corporate Accounts

    It is important to note that if you require a Corporate Account and will be paying the fees for lodgements made by employess under your Account, those employees will need to have their own individual accreditations with Elmhurst before you will be able to add them as a member to your Account.

    If they do not already have their own Accreditation with Elmhurst, they will also need to complete this form themselves and provide the required supporting documentation as detailed within the relevant sections in this form. They will then be sent their welcome email with their surveyor ID and password and you will need their full surveyor ID in order to be able to add them to your Account.

    Do you need an Accreditation Account or a Corporate Account?
  • Please note: 

    If you plan to use the name of a limited company for your own account (eg, ‘XYZ EPCs Ltd’), you can only do so if you are an Appointed Director of this company, as per Companies House

     

  • If your employer does not have an account with Elmhurst you will not be able to lodge on their behalf until:

    • They have completed an AP41 application form
    • A corporate account has been set up for them
    • Your employer has linked you to their account

  • It is a requirement of the Elmhurst Energy Systems DEA Accreditation Scheme that you have been subject to a Basic Disclosure Certificate within the past 3 years.

    Please attach a colour copy of ALL PAGES of your Disclosure Certificate (including any intentionally blank pages).

    A minimum of a `Basic Disclosure` is required, but either a `Standard` or `Enhanced Disclosure` will be accepted.  The Basic Disclosure Certificate is requested and paid for by the applicant.  Please apply using the link below:

    If you have chosen the APEL Qualification option, it means you have previously completed an APEL course and have been accredited as an energy assessor through this pathway.

    The Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) course offers a fast-track training route for individuals with relevant experience and knowledge in the sector, enabling them to meet the APEL standards efficiently.

    Payment of invoices by direct debit is free, non direct debit payments are subject to a surcharge of 3% (minimum of £3.00). We are now able to accept paperless direct debits.  If you would like to sign up to direct debit please email accounts@elmhurstenergy.co.uk stating your account number.  We will then send you a link which you will need to complete with your bank details. You will then receive a confirmation email letting you know you have successfully set up your direct debit. 

    If successful in my application I also agree to visit the Elmhurst Energy website on a regular basis (at least monthly) to ensure that I remain aware of any changes to the Terms, Standards or Codes that apply to the Elmhurst Energy Systems Accreditation Scheme. 

    I confirm that I have discussed this application with the bill payer who has agreed to pay all charges and lodgement fees for work I do on their behalf. If this comes into dispute then I agree to pay the account myself.
