ACHIEVEMENT AGAINST THE ODDS SCHOLARSHIP

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan Saint Louis Chapter, is accepting applications for its Scholarship Program for academically promising Black women.

The goals of our scholarship program include:
- To identify, publicly honor, and encourage academically promising Black women who are striving to advance or change careers
- To encourage Black women who exhibit evidence of the ability to achieve and continue their formal education
- To equip under-skilled or under-employed Black women with the resources needed to enter the workforce and seek professional employment
Eligibility
- Applicant must be an African American woman at least 30 years of age.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college for at least one year. Applicable colleges include 2-year, 4-year, Junior, and Post-Graduate programs.
- You must be a permanent resident of the Metropolitan St. Louis area and must be able to submit a copy of your Driver’s License or State ID.
- Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Finalists are required to complete an oral interview.
Our Scholarship deadline is Friday, February 28, 2025. Scholarships will be presented during NCBWSTL’s Gala Celebration on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Make sure you have either submitted your letters of recommendation electronically or mail them with an official transcript with proof of GPA to:

The Vision of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is to see black women and girls live in a world where socioeconomic inequity does not exist.

Our mission is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.
