- You must furnish your own chalk. ONLY non-oil-based washable chalk may be used. No acrylic paints, liquid pastels, oil-based pastels, hard pastels, etc. will be allowed.
• Designs must not exceed beyond the designated square size. Squares will be 5' x 5'.
• No political messages, words or symbols intended as advertising may appear in the image or space provided.
• No stenciling. Artwork must be created freehand.
• Organizers are not responsible for damage or defacing of artwork.
• Digital photos will be taken. The organizers reserve the right to use photographs for marketing, promotion and publicitypurposes.
• Organizers have the right to disqualify and/or remove any inappropriate art or writing as they may deem necessary.
• Spaces will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
• Artwork should be completed by 8:00 am on Saturday, March 6th.
REGISTRATION : No Entry Fee. Preregistration is required. Entries will be processed in the order they are received.
Art: Artists should keep in mind the contest exhibit area is FAMILY FRIENDLY. Art should be whimsical, humorous, mischievous, lovable or beautiful, and in good taste.
Art should not contain any derogatory, political statements or connotations, nor any offensive, crude, discriminatory or derogatory terms or expressions.
Artists can start drawing any time Thursday, August 5th. All drawings must be completed by 10AM on Saturday, August 7th
It is the responsibility of all artists to remove all trash from their designated area once they have finished with their artwork.
LOCATION: Art will be located in the downtown area along Washington St. and Adams Ave.
