The following Radon Mitigation System Installation Checklist has been developed in accordance with National Standard of Canada: Radon Mitigation options for existing low-rise residential buildings: P29-149-012-2017-eng.pdf
This is not meant to be complete guidance for installation, but rather a tool to use in conjunction with the proper guidelines.

You will be required to submit the checklist as part of the C-NRPP Mentorship Process, upon completing your mitigation.
You will also need to submit photos of the completed mitigation. At minimum please submit photos showing the following areas:
- Photo(s) of completed system including the Fan and pipe (may need multiple photos); from suction point to exiting the house; should show appropriate labels and pipe support have been used as per the standard.
- U-Tube manometer, zeroed prior to turning the fan on.
- U-Tube manometer, with the fan on, including the manometer label.
- External discharge, showing enough of the exterior to see proper clearances have been followed (appox. 10’ away)
- Any areas where you have completed sealing.
- Photos showing pipe has been properly labeled, as per the CGSB standard.
- Close up of the fan label to confirm the which model of fan was installed.
