The Freshman Intern Interview Process
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION YOU COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING INTO A WORD DOCUMENT AND SAVE IT FOR YOUR PERSONAL RECORDS.
-Once the applications are all turned in a paper cut will be made for time purposes. Those applications that make the paper cut will be notified by Wednesday, August 26, 2009 via e-mail or phone. It is recommended that on your application you give the e-mail address you check most often, and also keep an eye on your “spam” or “junk” folders, as the notification e-mail may unintentionally go there. Directions for scheduling your interview will be in the notification e-mail.
-Please arrive at least five minutes prior to your scheduled interview and wait in the Student Government Office (Union 320S, to the left of Well's Fargo Bank).
-Dress is business casual.
-This is a leadership program, and we are looking for those who truly desire to get connected with their university and learn valuable leadership skills. Just relax! Be yourself and have fun with the interview.
-The last interview will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009.
-Letters of acceptance will be ready to pick up in the Student Government Association Office tentatively on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 by 2 p.m.
-The first Freshmen Intern meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 6 p.m. If chosen, you will be given more information with your acceptance letter.
