Citizen's State Bank Honor Awards Nomination Form
CPI is seeking nominations for next year's Citizens State Bank Honor Awards to be presented at CPI's annual Dana Crawford Award gala. Each year, the event recognizes the individuals, organizations, and communities whose dedication has protected the state's built heritage, archaeolgocial resources, and working landscapes; ensuring Colorado's significant places of heritage endure for future generations.

These awards honor the legacy of Dana Crawford, one of Colorado's most consequential preservation advocates. The Honor Awards stand as a testimate her her, our our beliefe, that preservation is not simply an act of looking back. It is an investment in the communities, the character and the story Colorado will pass on to the next generation.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed on a rolling basis. The awardees will be selected by the CPI Board of Directors at their September meeting.

To be considered for the next year's event, nominations need to be received by July 1.
In any given year, CPI selects upto three Citizens State Bank Honor Awards recognizing exceptional preservation projects that adhere to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards. Projects may be excellent examples of preservation, rehabilitation and/or stewardship.

Eligible Projects include:

•Stabilization & restoration of historic buildings, structures, objects, or sites
•Protection of archaeological sites, cultural landscapes, or working heritage landscapes
•Emergency stabilization following fire, flood, or other disaster
•Conservation of historic interior features, finishes, and materials •Rehabilitation of commercial, residential, civic, industrial, or agricultural buildings for continued or new use
•Adaptive reuse projects that introduce a new program compatible with a building’s historic character
•Restoration projects that return a building to a specific historic period

- What is the project impact? Consider national (if applicable), statewide, and local impacts that have (or are anticipated) to occur as a result of the project?
