The Manchester Flower Show 2020 Entry Form

We're really excited to receive your application for The Manchester Flower Show on 6th & 7th June 2020! This form is to collect information about you and how you would like to be involved in the show, whether you are looking to be part of the judged show gardens, or the flower market - or both.

In this form you can submit:
*one judged category entry
AND
*as many stalls, information stands, activities etc that you would like to bring to the event's flower market

Participants can enter more than one judged category, however you will need to fill in one form per entry

Information which you include in this form will be used for pre-promotion of the event in the press and online, and also for event day collateral and listings.

When prompted to write in the third person, please fill out this section as you would want it to appear on a sign which members of the public read at the event (e.g. "This garden" rather than "My garden").

These will be judged by our RHS judges during the event.

Judged entries are focused on the show garden element. Though we encourage you to hand out information about your business inside/next to your entry throughout the weekend, if you would also like to sell flowers we recommend that you also apply to bring a market stall (further down in this form) alongside your judged entry.

Theme interpretation choices are first come first serve. For example if you submit an 'English Country Garden' design after another has already been entered, you may be asked to change your design to ensure variety at the show.

This can be a rough pencil sketch, or a fully to scale CAD drawing. We may use these in pre-event website or social listings to promote your garden; permission from participants will always be asked first.

Market Stall, Information Stand, Workshop/Talk/Activity

These are not part of the judged competition, therefore do not have to follow our 2020 theme.

We are looking for market traders, businesses, charities and indpendent companies who have a link to flowers & plants, wildlife, nature and eco-sustainability to be a part of our flower market. We are looking for a diverse market varying from nature themed jewellery stalls, to wildlife charities stands & talks on sustainable gardening tips!

Please note there will be a small fee for trading at this event of £150 (VAT not included) for a 3x3m area. You will be required to fill out a booking form including your invoice details if your application to take part is approved.

If you do not already have one, you will also need to apply for a distribution license from Manchester City Council which will cost roughly £110. You will be sent the link to council's application form from the event producers.

We understand that running workshops or activities cost money for the organizer, however do we encourage you to bring a free activity/workshop even if that means you can only run it for an hour rather than the whole weekend.
