Pop-Up Porch Sampling: Daily: 10am - 2:00pm & 3:00pm - 7:00pm
Submitting this application does not guarantee a Pop-Up Porch shift. Alcoholic Beverage Pop-Up Porch space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for a max of 4 shifts throughout the 24-day period. If shifts are not filled, we will contact everyone already signed up to fill them and waive the max. Once you receive a confirmation email for your shifts, payment is required within 48 hours or else your shift(s) will be released. Companies sampling the 3pm-7pm shift may choose to continue sampling until the Pavilion closes that day. Neither shift can leave before their scheduled shift time is completed. The GO TEXAN Pavilion is an all-weather event.
To participate in the Alcoholic Beverage Pop-Up Porch, staff working the shift must be TABC Certified. GO TEXAN mixer companies must have their product available for purchase in the GO TEXAN General Store. No alcohol may be purchased onsite, it is samples only. Companies may sell their merchandise from the pop-up porch, but not alcohol. Online orders/sales are allowed.
To ensure the health and safety of fairgoers, maximum allowable sample sizes are as follows:
Spirits - 0.5 ounce
Wine - 1.5 ounces
Beer - 2 ounces
If staff onsite notice people are being overserved, your porch will be closed for the remainder of your shift and all future shifts will be cancelled without refund.
