Arrival and Departure
Check-in is Friday, September 4th at 3 pm and check out is Monday, September 7th at 10am. Pricing includes meals, lodging, programming, and taxes.
Accommodations and Meals
Lodging will be in Shadowcliff's Cliffside lodge. Shadowcliff lodges have shared, gender-specific bathrooms with private showers. Upon arrival, you will be given a package of lovingly folded sheets and towels. Shadowcliff does not provide nightly cleaning in our guest rooms, but you are more than welcome to stop by the Front Office for new sheets and/or towels should you require them.
Meals begin with dinner on the 4th, continue with three meals daily, and end with breakfast on September 7th. Our Compassionate Kitchen works hard to provide delicious, nutritious food prepared with seasonal, local, organic ingredients as much as possible. We believe in the power of sharing a meal. Should you have allergies or other dietary requirements, please be sure to indicate them in space provided on the next page.
Clothing and Gear
Early September is generally very warm during the day and cool at night. Weather at 8500 feet can change rapidly so we recommend bringing the following:
- Hat
- Socks
- Backpack
- Waterbottle
- Sunblock
- Sturdy hiking shoes
- Light waterproof layer
- One or two warm layers
Other Important Information
All rooms are accessible by stairs. In fact, we have a lot of stairs at Shadowcliff. We recommend packing smaller bags and leaving the lead weights at home.
Pets and smoking are not allowed anywhere on our grounds. Candles, incense, and other forms of open flame are not allowed except in designated fire areas.
