Gallery Docent - MAC is always looking for volunteers to help run the gallery during our regular office hours. This entails greeting gallery visitors, answering phone calls, and letting visitors know about the current exhibitions.LoDa ArtWalk - The 2nd Friday of every month, MAC needs assistance between 4 - 9 p.m. with greeting visitors and passing out ArtWalk information flyers.Poetry Out Loud - Each fall, MAC works with District 1 high schools to facilitate Poetry Out Loud, a national poetry recitation competition. Help us reach out to schools and assist us with logistics on the competition day.Public Relations / Social Media - Help get the word out about our programs and exhibitions through assisting with our social media, online calendar, newsletters, and more.Amp Up Arts - MAC's youth education program to bring the arts to public schools and communities in need.Mobile Arts Council events (setup/ breakdown/ event assistance) (The Artys, The Throwdown, Mystic Squirrels of Bienville, etc)Other
