  • RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

    BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT YOU WILL WAIVE OR GIVE UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

     

    RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

    I acknowledge that I (hereafter known as the “Participant”) voluntarily chose to participate in the Escape Game (hereafter known as the “Escape Game”) at i-Exit Game Downtown Inc. (hereafter known as “i-Exit”).

    1. The Participant playing one of the indoor escape games will be placed in an enclosed area. i-Exit is not responsible for the Participant in case of any anxiety or panic symptoms associated with being in this enclosed space.
    2. No coercive or excessive physical force will be used by the Participant in the Escape Game.
    3. The use of cameras, cellphones, or any recording devices by the Participant is forbidden inside the indoor Escape Game. However, photos taken by Participants or i-Exit staff in the common area are supported.
    4. i-Exit does reserve the right to use any of these photos, which are posted on a Participant’s social media or taken on the i-Exit camera, on i-Exit social media, website, or distribution materials.
    5. i-Exit is not responsible for any physical harm or injuries incurred from participating in the Escape Game.
    6. i-Exit is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal property belonging to the Participant.
    7. In consenting to participate in the Escape Game by i-Exit, I hereby indicate that I am able to participate in the Escape Game. I agree to release i-Exit and their respective directors, employees, contractors, and representatives (hereafter known as “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have or may have in the future. This includes instances of injury, death, or property damage that is related to my participation in the Escape Game, whether directly connected to these activities or not.
    8. In the event that the Participant’s conduct causes damage to persons, property, or results in loss of revenue for i-Exit, the Participant will be held responsible. Further, in the event that i-Exit is required to pay for damages arising out of the Participant’s actions, the Participant agrees to reimburse i-Exit for any costs incurred. TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASEES for any and all liability for any property damage, loss or personal injury to any third party resulting from my participation in Escape Game. Cameras in the Escape Game are only recording for this purpose and to facilitate the game. No recordings will be released unless action needs to be taken.
