PROMOTION: Makers are required to participate in promotion for the event via displaying posters, listing on websites and sharing information on social media.
VENDOR SPACE: Each vendor is responsible for providing their own table, chairs and display surfaces. No booth sharing unless approved by One-OneThousand in advance.
LIABILITY: One-OneThousand will not be responsible for any loss or damage to vendor's property, injury to, or death of the vendor (or its employees, representatives, and contractors), or vendor sales. Vendor expressly assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts or omissions by Vendor, and hereby releases and waives any claims against One-OneThousand (and its employees, representatives, and contractors) related to such loss, damage, liability, injury, and/or destruction.
All vendors will provide an inclusive and welcoming booth presence and present themselves, the event and One-OneThousand in a positive light.
INSURANCE & LICENSES: Vendor represents that it has, or will have at the time of the event, appropriate insurance to cover liability for the types of activities Vendor will conduct at the event. Vendor covenants to be fully responsible for any of its liabilities, actions, or omissions, and will indemnify, defend, and hold One-OneThousand (and its employees, representatives, contractors, vendors, affiliates, and representatives) harmless against any claims related to Vendor’s liabilities, actions, or omissions.Vendor represents it has or will have at the time of the event, all local and necessary licenses required to sell their goods.
STATE SALES TAX: All vendors are responsible for abiding by all tax laws and collecting the 5.5% sales tax for Wisconsin on each sale. For more information about this you can contact the Wisconsin Department of Revenue or view taxation requirements on their website. You are responsible for sales taxes, licenses, permits, insurance and fees as necessary and/or required by law to conduct your business. We leave it to you to be responsible for any requirements that might apply to you.
PAYMENT & APPLICATION FEE: We're now taking all booth fee deposits upfront so payment must accompany application in order to complete your application. Unpaid applications are disqualified. Should you not be accepted to participate, you'll be refunded the booth fee MINUS a non-refundable $15 application fee.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATION: One-OneThousand will refund the booth fee MINUS the $15 application fee if Vendor cancels participation by September 1, 2019. After that point, One-OneThousand cannot issue a refund for any reason. Your spot is reserved for you and there are significant administrative costs associated with the vendor curation process.
Notify One-OneThousand immediately if you cannot come so we can open up the spot for another person.
Cancellation of your participation in this event will be considered in future applications for other events.
Understand that One-OneThousand has the right to deny your participation in any or all of the events at any time. One-OneThousand reserves the right to dismiss any vendor from any event.
This event will proceed regardless of weather. If a cancellation of the event by One-OneThousand is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, acts of a third party, or other circumstances which may compromise the safety of event participants (at our sole discretion), then the event may be rescheduled but if that is not possible, no refunds will be issued to Vendors.
MEDIA RELEASE/CONSENT: I do hereby release all rights or claims in connection with the photo/video in which I appear, for use by One-OneThousand and all sponsors. I understand that the photo/video, if used, will be for the promotional purpose of assisting future One-OneThousand events. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photos, video and/or advertising copy.
COMMITMENT: Submitted application is a commitment to participate in the market if accepted. Accepted makers must exhibit for the entire event. One-OneThousand reserves the right to remove an artist from the show for conduct deemed unacceptable and/or detrimental to the mission and reputation of the event.
