Basic Responsibilities as a GBAA Board Member.
1. Attend GBAA Board of Directors Meetings n-Person as Scheduled (6 Meetings a Year)
Including but not limited to GBAA Board Member Orientation, Bi-Annual Membership Meetings.
2. Term(s) Vary from 1-3 Years. Annual Dates of Service are: January 1 - December 31, 2024
3. Govern the Association with other Board Members in Accordance and in the Best Interest of the Association.
4. Provide Assistance to the Executive Committee and Executive Director as needed.
5. Employer is in Agreement of the Terms/Requirements of Service on the GBAA Board of Directors
6. Follow Roberts Rule of Order for All Board Meetings
7. Understand and Abide By GBAA Bylaws
8. Recruitment of a Minimum of 2 New Members During each Annual Term.
9. Support and Encouragement of Team Members/Staff to Attend GBAA Events and Educational Offerings
10. Promote the Mission of the GBAA to others In the Multifamily Industry
Requirements:
1. Must be a Employed by a Member of the GBAA in Good Standing.
2. Disclose Any Conflicts of Interest
3. Refrain from Any Discussions or Activities that are in Violation of Antitrust Laws. (Confidentiality of Sensitive Information)
