PART II STROKE SIGN-UP
Each swimmer may swim two strokes at the Mansion House B meet (assuming that they can swim both legally), including IM (time permitting, 9-10 and up only). Please check with Coach Paul or Coach Laurel if you have questions about what your swimmer should be swimming.
Six and unders can sign up for free and back. They can use fins and kickboards if they need to (although their times will not appear on the swim ladder). If you are concerned that your swimmer cannot swim the backstroke legally (stay on his or her back), you might want to skip the backstroke. Six and unders can swim breast or fly if requested by Coach Paul or Coach Laurel.
A Meet swimmers may sign up for two strokes including IM, regardless of their place at Saturday's A Meet.
Please make a different selection for Stroke 2.
PART IV
The Divisional Relay Carnival will be held on July 10, 2017 at Donaldson Run. We will enter two relays teams in each age group (a free relay team and a medley relay team). In most age groups, only 4 or 5 swimmers are selected for the relay teams. The fastest 18 teams from across the NVSL in the Divisional Relay meets qualify for the All-Star Relay meet, July 17, 2016 at Lincolnia Park.
The NVSL rules limit our ability to change swimmers between the Divisional Relay meet and the All-Star relay meet. As a result, we need to know your swimmer's availabilty for both meets. This does not mean that your swimmer had been selected to swim in a relay, only that we need to know if your swimmer is available for these two meets.
We will set the relay teams after the Mansion House meet, and you will be notified no later than Tuesday if your swimmer is on a relay team. If you are selected for a relay team, and your plans change, please let us know immediately. The entire relay team will be disqualified if all members are not present to swim.
