Once your application is received you will be contacted by a representative of Rescue, Rehome, Repeat of South Louisiana. Please understand volunteer fostering is a serious commitment. The minimal foster time commitment is 30 days.

In order to be a volunteer foster for Rescue, Rehome, Repeat (“RRR”), you must be at least 21 years of age or have the consent of your legal guardian. Proof of either will be required. You must be willing to allow an RRR representative to visit your home in person. Random follow up visits may also be made.

RRR foster dogs are required to be consistently supervised and live inside the home, i.e. not an “outside dog.” RRR will, in addition to other supplies, supply food. You must keep the dog(s) well fed with access to fresh water at all times.

Although every attempt will be made to ensure your safety, animals (particularly rescued animals) are by their nature unpredictable in behavior. Accordingly, you, as a volunteer agree to the following conditions:
I hereby agree to hold RRR of South La., its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers, forever harmless for any damage whatsoever that may occur while the animal is in my possession or anytime thereafter. This includes, but is not limited to, physical damage to my property and emotional distress as a result of bonding with the animal in my temporary care.*
