  • This form is for current Elliott School students only; students who are not in the Elliott School and declaring this as a second major must use the "Second Major in B.S. In International Affairs" form which can be found on the Elliott School advising website.

    The B.S. in International Affairs program requires students to complete the Introduction to the Major, Supporting Courses in the Liberal Arts, Third Year Proficiency in a Modern Language and the Advanced Fundamentals and Regional Foundations requirements.  In addition, B.S. students must complete 6 Advanced STEM field courses, and then choose to complete a Concentration OR a second major.

  • Additional Policies:

    • Except for approved WID courses, no double-counting is permitted within Elliott School requirements.
    • For students who choose the Second Major option:
      • Courses taken for the second major can double-count with Elliott School requirements.*
      • You must complete all requirements and comply with all policies of the second major in order to graduate with a BSIA.
      • If your second major offers both a BS and BA degree option, you must declare the BS track.

    *Note that some second majors may have double counting restrictions as part of their requirements; this should be discussed with the second major advisor.
