  • Propane Equipment

    Altogas agrees to install on Customer premises the following required equipment for propane service:

  • In accordance with Altogas’ commitment to safety, the Customer agrees to the following terms:

    The Customer will purchase and receive delivery of all propane utilized with the above Equipment from Altogas. Altogas and its authorized representatives will be allowed necessary access at any time to inspect, service, remove, replace or move any part of the Equipment. Only Altogas and its authorized representatives will deliver propane and have contact with the Equipment. All Equipment (tank, regulators, copper tubing, footing blocks) used for installation shall remain the personal property of Altogas. Customer agrees to consume at least tank capacity in propane annually, from the date of this agreement, or account will be subject to rental fees or equipment removal.

  • Damages:

    Customer hereby releases Altogas, Inc. from liability for any damage that may occur as a result of general service work performed or delivery of propane or its related equipment by Altogas, Inc. to Customer's real or personal property. Claims for damage that may occur would include, but not be limited to a result of trenching of the underground propane supply line, delivery of propane, delivery and installation of propane tanks or cylinders and related equipment by Altogas, Inc. to the Customer's property. This waiver of damage includes, but is not limited to, any claims regarding underground facilities that are not marked either by the customer or as part of the ''MISS DIG'' service, cracked or otherwise damaged driveways or bridges, as well as all claims for damage to the Customer's lawn, trees or landscaping. In addition, the Customer explicitly acknowledges and understands that the Altogas, Inc. propane delivery truck and service truck are heavy-duty vehicles, and that these vehicles may need to be driven or parked in places not designed to accommodate the vehicle's weight. Understanding and acknowledging this fact, Customer hereby grants permission to Altogas Inc. to drive and/or park its vehicles where the Altogas, Inc. driver believes it is required to complete the installation of the tank or cylinder, or the propane delivery.

  • PAYMENT TERMS AND POLICY

    The Customer agrees to the purchase of the gallons and the payment of the fees shown below:

  • All “Open Accounts” are due in full 30 days from date of delivery.

  • (1) A copy of the delivery invoice may be left at the Customer’s location even if the Customer is not present at the time of delivery.

    (2) Balance in full is due 30 days from date of delivery.

    (3) Service may be discontinued on this account if the account balance is not paid within 30 days from date of delivery.

    (4) A Late-Payment Charge will be assessed on any balance not paid within 30 days of the date of delivery. The Late-Payment Charge will be calculated based upon an interest rate of 18% per annum or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is lower, on the overdue balance.

    (5) The fee for a bad check is: $25.00

  • SPECIAL DELIVERY (Emergency) FEE $200.00

    *Applies to all after hours, out of route, or weekend propane gas deliveries no the fault of Altogas

  • LEAK TEST FEE $75.00

    * Applies to any out of propane or interruption in the propane system no the fault of Altogas

  • BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT, THE CUSTOMER CONSENTS TO THE EVALUATION OF HIS/HER CREDIT AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE ODOR OF PROPANE.
    THE CUSTOMER SHOULD IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY ALTOGAS OF ANY PROPANE LEAKS.

    ALTOGAS and the undersigned CUSTOMER have hereto caused this Agreement to be executed the day and year first above written.

  • TERMS and CONDITIONS

  • 1. Indemnification: Damages
    Customer hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold Altogas harmless from any demands, claims, liabilities or expenses resulting from: (1) unauthorized use or servicing of the Equipment; and (2) defects in propane equipment owned by Customer. Altogas shall not be liable for any damages, losses or expenses resulting from the exhaustion of Customer’s propane supply. These provisions shall survive termination or cancellation of this Agreement.

    2. Unforeseeable Interruption of Services
    Altogas will not be liable to Customer or other parties for failure to supply propane if such failure is caused by an act of God, labor disturbances, unavailability of propane or other causes beyond Altogas’ reasonable control.

    3. Taxes: Security Deposits
    Customer will be solely responsible to pay all taxes imposed on all sales and services under the Agreement. Security Deposits shall not earn interest unless required by law.

    4. Altogas: Sales & Service
    All service work under this Agreement shall be performed by Altogas Sales & Service.

    5. Entire Agreement: Assignment
    The terms on the front side of this Agreement and these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Customer and Altogas regarding the provision of propane and related services. Altogas may assign this Agreement to its successors or affiliates at any time. Customer may not assign his/her interest without the prior written consent of Altogas.

    6. Termination
    This agreement may be terminated at the end of any calendar month by one party giving the other party written notice which must be received by the other party at least fifteen (15) days prior to the end of such month.
