A note on child safety:

If you have not expressed a desire to volunteer in kid's ministry, we will not require a Working With Children check from you. We do ask that you agree to abide by child safety codes of conduct. This includes but is not limited to:

Treating all people with respect and honesty
Be a positive role model to kids in all your conduct with them
Always have another adult present or in sight when with a child
Do not develop 'special' relationships with children that could be seen as favouritism
Do not do things of a personal nature that a child can do for themselves eg. going to the toilet or changing clothes
Do not engage in any behaviour that could be considered to be abuse, sexual misconduct, or harm
Do not post images of kids on social media without written permission from parents/guardians

A Working With Children check is a prerequisite to be helping in kid's ministry. We will require you to undergo a check before we can allow you to help in the program. You can do so via this link: https://wwccheck.ccyp.nsw.gov.au/Applicants/Application. We'll need to know the number, expiry and your date of birth when it arrives.
