School visits are designed for educators interested in learning about Competency-Based Education. If you are a parent or prospective student, please visit the Admissions page on our website and sign up for one of our Open Houses, listed on the right hand side. Thank you for your interest in our school!
Please complete and submit this form to register to visit BDEA on one of our three hosting dates during the 2024-25 School Year:

Thursday, January 23rd
Thursday, May 1st

Visits take place from 9am-12noon and include light breakfast, an overview of the school, a description of our competency-based programming and mission, and a visit with students and/or classroom observation.

If you know ahead of time that there are specific departments or staff that you would like to meet, please send an email directly to Director of Institutional Advancement, Jill Kantrowitz, at jkunkel@bostonpublicschools.org, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We are located at 20 Kearsarge Avenue Boston, MA 02119. Our parking lot is completely full, so ridesharing apps are your best bet for transportation. There is a parking lot located a 5 minute walk down the street on Harrison Ave, should you need to drive. We are also located a 5 minute walk away from the Dudley Square MBTA stop.
