Rising Star Award
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is an international association that strives to stimulate a world of generosity and positive social good through fundraising best practices. For 50 years, AFP has been the leader for professionalism in fundraising, representing over 30,000 members, in over 203 chapters throughout the world, who work to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs. In honour of National Philanthropy Day® on November 15, AFP Newfoundland and Labrador will host the annual Spirit of Philanthropy Awards to celebrate the great contributions of philanthropy in the Province and to those who go above and beyond to make an impact through generosity and volunteerism.
Rising Star Award Nomination Form Details

This award is presented to a fundraising professional with five or fewer years paid experience who exemplifies professionalism and creativity, has documented success in fundraising and a commitment to professional development. The recipient must have at least two years and not more than five years of professional fundraising experience and must be a member in good standing of the AFP Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter. Current members of the Awards Selection Committee are not eligible for this award. Please complete EACH section, providing information as requested.
