Small Business Saturday | November 30, 2019 11am - 5pm
South End Small Business Saturday is a chance for all of Charlotte and the surrounding region to celebrate and support our local economy. South End comes alive with four shopping streets, festive trolleys, and a holiday tree lighting.
This year the festival will have a holiday zone, a shopping street, Dudeapalooza: gifts for dudes, and a hangout stop. Each location will bring something different to the mix all in support of exploring South End and shopping local.
New Bern Station:
Stop #1: New Bern Station. New this year, this festival hub will be full of great food, beverages, and places to hang out. Here you'll find Suffolk Punch, Triple C Brewing, and Eight and Sand Kitchen in addition to ample attendee parking and a few beer-complimenting pop-up shops.
This stop will be activated with approximately 10 shops in a pop-up alley between Suffolk Punch and the new event space, Norfolk Hall.
Lincoln Street or "Holiday Hub":
Stop #3: Lincoln Street. On Small Business Saturday, South End’s Gold District will pull out all the stops to transform Lincoln Street and the adjacent Riva Fanoli alley into a holiday wonderland. Holiday shopping, music, photo-ops, a spiked cocoa competition, and (if we are lucky) a special visit from a jolly, red-suited man!
This location will host approximately 10 holiday-centric pop-up shops.
Stop #2: Camden Road. This usually bustling main street of South End gets an added boost with more than 150 pop-up shops to become the best shopping street in Charlotte. This year, activities and shops will stretch from Atherton Mill to Park Avenue. Shoppers can also enjoy delicious food, hot coffee and drinks, and outstanding shopping from year-round gift destinations like Girl Tribe, 704 Shop, Candlebar and Adair Boutique.
This location will host approximately 150 pop-up shops.
