When taking your photo, please use the following as guidelines to ensure your photo is accepted:
- Do not use a photo downloaded from a social media site
- Color should reproduce natural skin tones of subject
- Subject's head should be positioned directly facing the camera and the entire face should be in focus
- The photo should capture from slightly above the top of hair to the middle of the chest
- Eyes should be open and looking at the camera
- Glare on eyeglasses can usually be avoided with a slight upward or downward tilt of the head; Do not wear sunglasses
- The background should be plain white or off-white
- Include headpieces if worn daily for religious purposes; they should not obscure or cast shadows on the eyes or any other part of the face
- Facial features of subject should be clearly evident in the photo
- Lighting should be adjusted to avoid shadows on the face or background
- No red eye or flash reflection
- Do not wear costumes or hats
- Do not have any other object or person in the picture
- Photo must be in color
- Photo must be taken in the last 6 months and must be in likeness of your current appearance
- JPEG, Gif, and Tiff are all accepted. JPEG format is recommended.
What happens if the photo I supply does not meet the specified requirements?

You will receive an e-mail indicating the reason why the photo is not acceptable and you will need to upload a new photo to be approved.

Caring for your TU ID Card
It is important to follow some simple steps to insure the operation of your
- Do not punch a hole in the card yourself. If you want a hole punched in the card bring it to Parking and Card Services in Allen Chapman Student Union, Second Floor, Suite 233- Campus Servvices HQ.
- Do not use your ID as an ice scraper; it will damage the circuitry and possibly break the card.
- Do not wash and/or dry your ID card; it will make the card brittle and easily broken.

When you hit submit, you will be taken to a website to submit a photo. First you will need to register your account.
1. Click Submit
2. On the page that launches, click User Registration in the bottom blue bar.
3. Fill Out form
4. Click Continue
5. Verify Info is correct and select Continue
6. You will receive an email and click that link.
7. Re-enter email address and select Activate
8. Click Return Home
9. Change sign in realm to Spouse/Alumni Login and login
10. Type in your Customer Number (TU ID Number) and name. Click Register.
11. Click on Submit New Photo and follow the rest of the process
When you click next, you form will be submitted, and you will be redirected to a website to upload a photo. We will not be able to create an ID without a photo.

Please allow until the next business day for your ID to be ready. We will email you when it is ready.
