Thank you for contacting Maggie's Rescue about stray cats.

Please complete the following form and a volunteer will contact you via email if we are able to assist. Give us much information as possible about the cats and include pictures so we can best assess how to help.

We are a small rescue of dedicated volunteers in the INNER WEST OF SYDNEY. If you are from outside of Sydney then please search for rescue groups in your local area. Please note that we do not have the resources to TRAP or TRANSPORT cats and are not a collection service. Stray cats are a COMMUNITY problem and we receive no government funding for the work we do.

Please know that the stray cat problem vastly exceeds our resources many times over. We receive many requests DAILY and are limited by available places in foster care which are in high demand.

Please note that we receive no government funding and the demand for stray cat rescue far outstrips our capacity several times over. Offering to foster the cats will give them a better chance of receiving assistance from us. Maggie's Rescue covers the cost of all veterinary work for companion animals in our care. Stray or unowned cats usually come into care with little to no previous vetwork and are at a higher risk of disease or infection. Any donation, small or large, will help us continue to provide care for these cats including desexing, vaccinations, microchipping and decontamination treatments.
