Company provided devices will be assigned to employees for their own use when the normal functions of the employee’s position and/or business needs demands it for the safe and successful completion of work related communications and activities. While cell phones are a necessary convenience of the business world, we require that our employees follow the guidelines listed below for their own and others safety. This agreement includes, but is not limited to, laptops, tablets, cell phones and other equipment

All employees are required to be professional and conscientious at all times when using company cellphones. It is The Agents Company’s policy that representatives of our organization who are issued a cellular phone understand the phones are issued for business use only.

The Agents Company has a zero tolerance policy regarding using a cell phone while driving. For the safety of our employees and others it is imperative that you pull over and stop at a safe location to dial, receive or converse on the cell phone in any way, including text messaging or navigating GPS.

Employees are required to properly maintain company provided items at all time. This includes keeping the item physically clean, being mindful of data storage practices, keeping company logo intact (if applicable), and protecting the item from loss, damage, and/or theft at all times.

Any neglect of the item is the employee’s responsibility and could result in a charge to the employee. If a company provided device is lost/stolen, the employee will be responsible to pay up to 50% of the balance left on that particular device. Accessories and extra storage (ICloud, protective cases) are extra add-ons and will be the responsibilities of the employee if they wish to have those features on them.

Upon resignation or termination of employment, or at any time upon request, the employee may be asked to produce the item for return or inspection.

Agreement to Return and Care for Company Equipment

I acknowledge that while I am working for The Agents Company, I will take proper care of all company equipment that I am entrusted with. I further understand that upon termination, I will return all The Agents Company’s property and that the property will be returned in proper working order. I understand I may be held financially responsible for lost or damaged property. This agreement includes, but is not limited to, laptops, tablets, cell phones and other equipment. I understand that failure to return equipment will be considered theft and may lead to criminal prosecution by Company.
