UPDATE February 2025: We often receive a high volume of requests. We triage each one to best help those who need it the most first, so it may take 5-7 business days for us to respond.

Please make every effort to find your new pet a home on your own using the resources on our website. Have a plan in place for your pets if this is a last-minute request. Rehoming often takes weeks, and if you only have a matter of days, make a plan for your pet. Please do not abandon them; this is a crime.

FieldHaven does not often intake owner surrenders but if an intake is your only option, please be sure to note that in the comments. Resources will vry by location. Reminder: Your cat must be spayed or neutered and preferably up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

We stress that we are here to assist you in rehoming your cat so it's important for you to promote your cat on adoption sites, social media, and other avenues. We can provide you with lots of resources, support, and tools.
