  • PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

    This application represents an understanding among the Roseville Area Schools Orchestra director, Private Lesson Instructor, Student-applicant, the Student's parent/guardian, Minnesota Youth Symphonies and the RAS Orchestra Foundation (RASOF).

    Under this program, subject to available funding, RASOF agrees to contribute $25 toward the $30 cost of the weekly lesson. The student pays their Instructor $5 per lesson. The student may receive one 30 minute lesson per week up to 50 lessons per year: 25 during Spring Term, January through June, and 25 during Fall Term, July through December. Applications will be accepted for eligible students until RASOF's annual program budget is met.

    Student-applicants are eligible only if they are currently enrolled in the string orchestra program in Roseville Area Schools (ISD623), are recommended by their school orchestra director under RASOF's Guidelines, and agree to cooperate with attendance and contribution requirements.
