This form should be used for all Finals Permit Applications for the HV Winter Season.
Application must be lodged by 9.00am on the last business day prior to the match where the permit is required.
The result of all permit applications will not be individually answered, but will be published on
the Hockey Victoria website in the Compeition / Permit Section as a pdf document.
Please ensure you check this list to ensure that your permit has been approved.
FINALS PERMITS:
1. CONSECUTIVE TEAM PERMIT:

Consecutive Team Permits
|

Philosophy
|
With the assumption that a club would select the ‘best’ players to play in the higher of the two consecutive teams playing that Round of Finals – this permit exists for those players that may be considered ‘fringe’ players to play in the lower of the consecutive teams for that Round of Finals (rather than missing out on a match altogether because of their playing record at the end of the Regular Rounds).

Conditions considered
|
a) Teams must be consecutive (in ranking at the club)
b) Player does not qualify for lower of the consecutive teams participating in the particular Finals Round (See Reg. 8.5)
c) Player must have played a minimum 33% of games during the Regular Rounds in that team or lower ranked team/s

Conditions of Permit –

|
The permit is valid for one Finals Round in the particular Competition Section ONLY
|

Timeline for Submission
|
Strictly 9:00am on the last business day before the match (I.e. Friday for Seniors or Monday night Masters, Thursday for Friday night Juniors, etc).

2. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES PERMIT:

Exceptional Circumstances Permit
|
|
Philosophy
|
A permit provided to players due to exceptional circumstances existing that could not be managed by the flexibility allowed in the current HV Rules and Regulations.
|
|
Conditions considered
|
a) Team is short on eligible players (lowest ranked team)
b) Removal of match results/team sheet due to the withdrawal of a team/restructure of competition
|
|
Conditions not considered
|
a) Injury
b) Work Commitments
c) Player Vacations
d) Retirements
e) Suspensions
|
|
Conditions of Permit –
If approved
|
a) any additional conditions applied on the individual permit.
|
|
