List contact information for the two individuals who will be providing reference letters for the applicant. Include name, title, institution, and e-mail address. Please request letters as soon as possible and give the letter writers the file/naming instructions below. Letters should address the significance and feasibility of the proposed research, quality of the proposal, qualifications for the project, and past work.
Letter writers should send pdf format letters directly to the Institute via e-mail (email@example.com) no later than 11:59pm CT on March 2, 2020. The Institute does NOT send an email prompt requesting letters on the applicant's behalf.
The email from the letter writer should have "UW System Fellowship" and the applicant's name in its subject line. Because of the number of applications IRH receives, please have the letter writer include "UW System," your name, and their name in the file name (for example: "UWSystem.2020-2021.applicant's_name.Letter.from.writer's_name.pdf"). Official Letterhead is preferred but not required. Files must be in pdf format.
