  • Please follow the shipping and move-in dates noted on the Freeman Quick Facts located in the Exhibitor Service Kit. Equipment cannot arrive at the convention center or the Advanced Warehouse before the dates listed on the Freeman Quick Facts.

  • Gasoline-operated vehicles/equipment on display during the Show must have one (1) gallon or less of fuel in their tank(s). Fuel tank caps must be locked or taped, and battery cables must be disconnected and taped. Fuel is only to be dispensed or removed with approved safety equipment. No LP tanks, empty or filled, are authorized to be stored in the Convention Center. No gasoline or other fuel-operated motor may be demonstrated inside the exhibit hall of the Convention Center during the Show.

    If the local city has a contrary fire code or the Convention Center rules and regulations dictates otherwise to the regulations listed above, then Exhibitor agrees to comply with any and all requirements regarding gasoline-operated vehicles/equipment, including, but not limited to fuel storage, displaying of gasoline-operated vehicles/equipment, and fueling/re-fueling.

    MCCNO guidelines for displaying of equipment and vehicles on the exposition floor are:

    All vehicles must meet Fire Marshal approval for display and location. Vehicles on display must adhere to the following rules:

    • Vehicles may not be displayed without the prior written approval of the NOENMCC Campus Security Department.
    • Any fuel-powered vehicle on static display must have the smallest possible amount of fuel, not more than 1/8th tank or 10 gallons, or 1/4th tank for diesel, whichever is less.
    • The gas cap must be locked or sealed by tape; batteries must be disconnected. The general contractor must keep a key nearby at all times.
    • Vehicles may not be started, run, or moved during event hours.
    • The date/time vehicle is to arrive is to be provided 14 days in advance. NOENMCC Campus Security Department will perform inspection upon arrival.
    • All fuel-powered motors must have an exhaust system that will prevent any fumes from being emitted. Prior NOENMCC approval is required.

    Exhibitors or agents with mobile or motorized equipment will require guidance to their respective booths. This guidance is required and provided by Freeman to prevent damage that may occur to exhibits, or property of others, or when necessary to move crates that may be in the aisles. Exhibitors may drive their motorized equipment in and out of the exhibit areas or have Freeman supply an operator when available.
