An important piece of the success of students in the program is involvement with the families and guardians, and consistent support for the program for the benefit of the student. If a student has missed any work due to their lack of participation, this will be sent home for completion. Students are expected to read, or be read to for 20-30 minutes each night. Participation and success in the Brookhaven treatment and education program is contingent upon a positive and collaborative working relationship between school and home. Thus, we ask families to support the school expectations consistently in order to successfully educate your student.
We implement a selected communication method to maintain clear and consistent communication. This is a great tool that promotes fluent communication between school and home. The journals can be used for information/issues around school day performance, daily incidents, upcoming appointments, clarification questions, etc. Additionally, if you have any questions, comments or other communication that you need to pass onto the school, this is the perfect place to share that information.
By signing below, you agree to support the program by utilizing the communication tools provided, which include the journal, email, or phone calls. You also agree to follow through on the Learning Center requests for homework completion at home, or any other assignments.
