  •       I acknolwedge that this is a virtual hair analysis and consultation with a Brazilian Blowout Treatment specialist. I have provided all information regarding previous treatments to my hair and/ or color that may or may not affect the outcome of my service. Failure to provide true or accurate information can result in possible damage to my hair as well as lack of treatment consistency or effectiveness. My stylist has explained to me the process they recommend for my hair type, texture, condition and desired results. I understand the Brazilian Blowout is a smoothing treatment which it will minimize frizz while enhancing the appearance of the natural wave/curl. I have been given aftercare instructions and product recommendations to best care for, preserve and prolong my treatment results.

    In order to book my treatment I agree to pay a non-refundable retainer of $100 to secure my space. 

    I understand that Brazilian Blowout is not a chemical relaxer or chemical straightener, and that Metropolis Salon, and any affiliates do not guarntee straight hair by performing this service.

    I am not pregnant or nursing, and I have advised my stylist of any potential concerning medical conditions including asthma or respiratory disease.

    I release my stylist, Metropolis Salon & Dry Bar, and any affiliates from any liability during or after my treatment.

    I agree to all aftercare instructions and understand that my service today is non-refundable and non-negotiable.

  • Service Re-Do & Retail Return Policy

    We strive to offer our clients the highest level of customer satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut or color, let us know within 7 days of your visit and we are happy to correct the issue within the limitations discussed during your consultation, as there are NO REFUNDS on services. Should you make a retail purchase that you are unsatisfied with, we will accept retail exchanges at full store credit, for 14 days from your initial purchase.   • Appointment Cancelation Policy

    We strive to offer the best customer service and experience for our clients. Your appointment time is reserved specifically  for you, so late cancellations or no shows dramatically impact our staff and other clients.In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to our clients, We require a 48-hour notice for penalty free cancellation of appointments. Clients can cancel appointments by our online booking system, calling the salon and speaking with our operations team, sending an email to info@metrpolissalonsc.com, or by leaving a voicemail if out of salon hours. Clients will be required to have a credit or debit card on file with their client profile account to serve as a deposit for any scheduled appointment. Clients cancelling appointments with less than a 48-hour notice will be required to pay 50% of the missed appointments menu price that will be charged to the credit or debit card on file. No show appointments will be required to pay 100% of the missed appointments menu price that will be charged to the credit or debit card on file. Clients who No Show on more than one occasion must pre-pay, in full, for any services that they would like to schedule.  Additionally, if you arrive to the salon more than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, you will be subject to a late client fee ranging from $11-$22 based on the individual service provider. New client appointments that are not confirmed within 48 hours are subject to cancelation at the discretion of the salon.

    Our clients safety and the environment we provide for our services is our top priority. We care about our clients and their families but unfortunately lack the space & capabilities to provide care for young children while your services are being provided. Children can not be left unattended in the reception area & guests of our clients will not be able to accompany them on the salon floor for the safety of our staff & our clients. In order to maintain the standard of our salon environment we ask that all cell phones should be placed on silent while receiving services. We ask that you please keep phone conversations to a minimum & be respectful of the clients around you. Speaker phone or audible sounds are not permitted in any area of the salon or shampoo room. If cellular communication is required & our staff are unable to continue service then appointments may be altered or rescheduled as necessary to respect the time of the following clients.

    Q. WHO IS THE BEST CANDIDATE FOR THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
    A. It has been our experience, that good candidates for the Brazilian Blowout are anyone who has frizzy, damaged or processed hair. We have performed the treatment on every hair type (fine/course/frizzy/curly), as well as hair that has been permed, Japanese straightened and extensions. In doing so, we have found that with proper communication and a well considered application, everyone can benefit from the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment.

    Q. WHAT KIND OF LOOK WILL YOU GET FROM THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
    A. The hair will be left totally frizz-free, shiny, effortlessly manageable and with plenty of body and bounce. There will still be the option to wear hair curly/wavy (depending on the hair type) and the freedom to blow dry hair smooth and straight in a fraction of the time invested prior to receiving the treatment.

    Q. CAN I STILL RECEIVE A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT IF I HAVE HIGHLIGHTS AND/OR COLOR?
    A. Yes, the Brazilian Blowout will actually improve the health of color-treated/highlighted hair by conditioning the hair while sealing the cuticle for enhanced color, reduced frizz and radiant shine.

    Q. IS THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT GOING TO MAKE MY HAIR STRAIGHT?
    A. If your hair is wavy, the Brazilian Blowout will make your hair appear smooth and healthy. If your hair is very curly, it will minimize frizz while enhancing the appearance of the natural wave/curl. If you have straight, frizzy hair, this treatment will eliminate frizz and promote radiant shine.

    Q. HOW LONG DOES THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT LAST?
    A. The Brazilian Blowout will last for up to 12 weeks if the Açai After-Care Maintenance product line is used. The Brazilian Blowout is a cumulative treatment, in that the more you receive it, the healthier the hair will be and the longer the result will last.

    Q. CAN YOU APPLY THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT DIRECTLY ON TOP OF OTHER RELAXERS AND STRENGTHENERS?
    A. Yes. The Brazilian Blowout actually works best on chemically treated hair, and helps to improve the condition of the hair by fortifying each strand with essential amino acids.

    Q. WILL MY HAIR LOSE VOLUME IF I RECEIVE THE BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
    A. No, your hair will not lose volume as a result of receiving the Brazilian Blowout. Your hair will maintain its natural volume and you will still receive great bend and memory when blow-drying and/or using a curling iron.

    Q. CAN YOU COLOR YOUR HAIR THE SAME DAY YOU RECEIVE A BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT?
    A. Yes, however, you must color your hair prior to having the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment. If you get a Brazilian Blowout and wish to get a color service at a later date, you will need to wait 2 weeks.

  • Suggested Maintenence

     

    Your treatment will wear off each time you shampoo your hair. For the best results and longevity of your treatment, we suggest washing your hair as infrequently as possible within your day to day routine. Most of our clients that only wash 2 to 3 times a week notice their results lasting longer than the manufacturers guarantee, especially with each subsequent treatment.

    Sulfates, Sodium and Chlorine are the most aggressive in diminishing the results of a Brazlian BlowOut Treatment. 

    Make sure that your Shampoo & Conditioner are free of these ingredients to prolong the results of your treatment. Our staff can recommend the products we sell to support the results of your treatment.

    Avoid submerging your hair in salt water (saline pools, ocean water, etc) as well as chlorinated water (swimming pools, hot tubs, etc) as this can dramtically reduce the longevity of your treatment.

    Due to the cumulative nature of the treatment, the more you recieve it the longer your results will last. We suggest most clients recieve the treatment 3 to 4 times a year depending on your desired results.
