Non Routine Construction Clean 

Liability Waiver

Customer agrees that the service performed is a non-routine attempt at cleaning the glass.  The Customer further understands that such cleaning is mandated due to not properly protecting the glass and or infrequency of cleaning during the construction process or similar procedures after construction such as painting, exterior work including concrete, stucco, adhesives  etc. Non-Routine glass cleaning as defined by GANA/IWCA Bulletin 01-0116 Proper Procedures for Cleaning Architectural Glass Products includes the possible use of razors, chemicals or mechanical devices in an attempt to restore such glass.  The Bulletin also states that these methods could cause damage to the glass depending on surface coatings. In addition to the above mentioned bulletin GANA/IWCA Bulletin TD 03-1003 Construction Site Protection and Maintenance of Architectural Glass (2010 Version) also provides instruction on this subject.

Clean & Clear Home Services shall not be held accountable for any real or perceived damage including distortion, cracks, scratches and/or breakage. Clean & Clear Home Services will make every possible attempt to remove all construction debris including drywall mud, stucco, concrete, paint, varnish, adhesives, stains or mineral deposits per the scope of work.  Customer is welcome to perform inspections throughout the course of the job. Customer warrants and agrees that some glass may not be able to be restored to a similar quality or “like new” quality and that if it is unacceptable, Customer may, at its own expense replace such glass.

There are no warranties implied or given, and by signing this proposal Customer agrees that the glass was in a damaged state prior to the arrival of Clean & Clear Home Services technicians. Clean & Clear Home Services will NOT be held accountable to replace any glass for any reason.  

Customer agrees that the labor and materials used to perform or attempt to perform restoration is fully deserving of payment whether or not the glass reaches acceptable visual standards. Customer will make no attempt to withhold payment, back charge, or enter into litigation with and in fact, holds harmless Clean & Clear Home Services for the performance and outcome of this project.

By accepting these terms you understand the potential for damage during various cleaning processes, and you release Clean & Clear Windows LLC from responsibility for any such damage.
