Grade for America® considers educators with unique characteristics. Please check each of the qualifiers below that apply to you. This data may increase your likelihood of qualifying for a GFA grader. Please note, if you are assigned a grader based on any of these qualifiers, you will be asked to produce documentation verifying your unique eligibility.
Optional Information:
Information regarding gender, ethnic origin and race are optional. The information is requested for report generation only and in no way affects the evaluation of your application to become a GFA-Grader Recipient. However, providing this information may increase your likelihood of being assigned a grader in (and only in) instances where donors have asked that priority consideration be given to applicants meeting certain demographic criteria (such as minority status, teaching at particular types of educational institutions, place of employment, subjects or courses taught, etc.)
COVER LETTER
Please paste a cover-letter in 300-500 words. You should address why deserve a TA, describing your particular institutional and/or personal circumstances, how you intend to benefit from a TA, and how your students will tangibly benefit from your having a TA. Include anythign else relevant to the GFA Program's Mission that might favorably affect your application.
