The Collections, Curatorial & Exhibitions Departments at the Muscarelle Museum of Art work together to research and organize upcoming exhibitions as well as provide ongoing support for the permanent collection. The Collections, Curatorial & Exhibitions Intern at the Muscarelle Museum of Art will have the opportunity to gain invaluable work experience as part of the daily operations of the organization's collections and curatorial department. Collections duties will include, but are not limited to, aiding with inventory, digitizing, reorganizing the works on paper collection, assisting with packing two dimensional and three dimensional objects, as well as researching and cataloguing collections items. Duties for exhibitions include the development of timelines, checklists, publicity materials, exhibition publications, communication with artists, curators, galleries, and museums, as well as assisting with installation of exhibitions.
10 to 15 hours per week in segments of no less than 3 hours.
$10 per hour.
