Types of Grant Projects Funded: For the 2019-20 school year, CEF invites proposals from CCS Media Center Specialists.
CEF Media Center Grants
The purpose of these grants is to increase access to, diversify, or intensify the utilization of Media Center resources that support student learning opportunities, abilities, and/or interests. Proposed projects might include a pilot with hopes of a future expansion, a new resource, or an expansion or adaptation of a current resource, among others.
Priority will be given to projects with a clear statement of objectives, a description of how the project will be implemented and managed and, when possible, a discussion of how the outcomes and impacts of each proposed project will be measured and reported to CEF.
While some grants are fully funded, many are partially funded, and we encourage applicants to identify and cite additional prospective or committed funding sources in their applications. Most grants will range from $100 to $1,000.
Applicant Eligibility: Grants are awarded to Media Center Specialists in the Chatham County Schools.. NOTE: Lead applicants who have received CEF grants in the past must have completely fulfilled reporting requirements in order to be eligible to submit a new application.
