White Oak Education Foundation
"Investing in Our Community Today to Ensure the Future"
General Information for Grant Application
To enrich and maximize the quality of education in the White Oak ISD and Community through grants designed to provide funding for student, teacher, and school programs, projects, and initiatives that are not adequately supported by tax-based funding.
Availability of Funds
The amount of funds available for these requests varies from year to year. The ability of the WOEF to fund individual requests is dependent upon the donors' generosity, growth from endowed investments, and proceeds from fundraising events.
Persons Eligible to Apply for Grants
Individuals employed by White Oak Independent School District that are involved in the instruction of students or related support services benefiting students.
Instructional approaches or projects must be designed to begin during the 2019-2020 school year. Note: There is only one application form this year. Be sure to indicate your grant choice.
Materials and/or equipment typically acquired through the WOISD budget or deemed to not function within the district's physical infrastructure.
Award of Funds
Individual grants up to $500 will be awarded to teacher-initiated programs or projects. The number of awards will be dependent on funds available from the WO Education Foundation.

All grants will be submitted online. The forms are available on the WOEF website.
Deadline for grant submission is Friday, October 18, 2019.
Grants will be awarded November 11-15, 2019.
