    Sample Benefit Package & Agreements

  • Compensation is negotiable and we allow our donors to set their own compensation request. Most donor's ask between $7500-$10000 per donation.

Compensation Explanation. The donor shall receive $1000 of her compensation upon commencement of her injectible cycle medications and the remainder of her compensation within 3 business days of completion of her egg retrieval and the submission of all cycle-related receipts.

If the cycle is canceled, not due to the fault or actions of the donor, more than 5 days after initiation of stimulation medications but before egg retrieval, in addition to the initial $1000 start payment, the donor shall receive an additional $500, thus totaling $1500.

If the cycle is canceled, not due to the fault or actions of the donor, more than 10 days after initiation of stimulation medications but before retrieval, in addition to the initial $1000 start payment, the donor shall receive an additional $1000, thus totaling $2000.

  • Long-Distance Travel Package:

In addition to the donor's compensation, the donor will receive reimbursements for expenses related to the donation cycle and related travel as detailed below.

All reimbursements require a receipt or documentation and all travel arrangements will be made by the donor agency. Any changes or upgrades to these reservations are at the expense of the egg donor.

    The donor shall receive:

    a. Food Allowance. Traveling donors shall receive $37.50 per person per diem for a total of $75 per diem food allowance when traveling with a companion.

    b. Hotel.   The donor shall receive the cost of reasonable hotel accommodations for Donor and Donor’s companion in a hotel within close proximity to the medical facility, as booked by the agency. The hotel accommodations are inclusive of the room charges and taxes and phone calls to the medical facility of the IVF Physician and exclusive of mini-bar, room service, pay-per-view entertainment, video rentals, and incidental charges. The hotel room is booked by the agency for all necessary travel days. Should the egg donor elect to upgrade her accommodations, she would do so at her own expense. In no circumstance may a donor stay in an Airbnb or similar house rental arrangement. For the retrieval visit, only one room will be provided for Egg Donor and companion unless the agency must provide a staff member as the donor’s companion (only in instances where the donor cannot provide her own companion) in which case the agency companion will have a separate room.

    c. Airfare or Train Service. The donor shall receive coach class airfare or train service as booked by the agency for all necessary long-distance trips to the fertility clinic. The donor shall be entitled to have one domestic coach class round trip ticket, as booked by the agency, for the retrieval trip only. In order to qualify for this flight allowance as a companion, they must stay with the donor from the day before the retrieval until at least 24 hours after retrieval. Should donor elect to upgrade her airfare or her companion's airfare arrangements or wish to fly on a specific airline, she would be solely responsible for any difference in cost.

     d. Baggage. Donor and her companion shall be entitled to the cost of one checked bag per person per flight. A receipt is required to be furnished for reimbursement.

    e. Parking and Tolls Allowance. The donor shall be offered a parking allowance for the donors parking expense at her local airport for the long term parking lot only. Receipt copy is required for reimbursement. If the egg donor elects to not drive to the airport, she would be covered for the taxi or rideshare service fare to and from the donors home and the airport or train station. In addition to this, the donor shall be reimbursed for the cost of parking at the hotel and medical facility, provided a receipt is furnished. If self-parking is available, and a donor elects to upgrade to the valet lot instead, this difference in cost will be the donors' sole responsibility unless this is due to a medical request of the IVF physician.

    f. Rental Car Charges. All cycle-related rental car charges for an economy or compact car, taxes, daily property insurance, under 25-surcharge; second driver fee, and one tank of gasoline unless more is needed to transport the donor to and from the airport, hotel, and clinic or applicable train fare and/or cab fare as needed to get to and from appointments and is pre-approved by the agency.

    g. Other Expenses Reasonably Necessary. Should the donor be instructed by the IVF Physician to pick up any necessary item such as a heat pad, over the counter or prescription medication as ordered by the IVF physician which is not pre-paid for, such as birth control pills, or be asked to purchase a travel cooler, baggage assistance, etc. these expenses would be covered provided the physician ordered the purchase and a receipt is furnished.

  • Health Updates. We ask that our egg donors agree to provide annual health updates on their personal and family history for any substantial health changes for the next 21 years to the agency. Donors may be asked to register with 21 Health Updates online registry service to keep their contact information up-to-date annually in the event of a health emergency that requires future contact for any reason and to make annual medical health updates available to the Intended Parents. The agency shall provide instructions for registration and participation but all donors, by continuing, agree to comply with providing health updates as requested for the benefit and health of any resulting offspring.

  • Behaviors and Actions Required by Agency.

In addition to complying with all restrictions provided by the fertility clinic, the donor agrees to comply with the following agency behavioral restrictions. Donor shall:

    1. Not get any new tattoos and piercings during this process.

    2. Avoid saunas and hot tubs during the medication process and post-retrieval until otherwise advised by the IVF physician.

    3. Avoid all smoking, vaping, and drug use including marijuana and avoid settings where 2nd hand smoke exposure is likely during this process.

    4. Avoid alcohol as advised by the IVF physician. The donor shall refrain from all binge drinking.

    5. Avoid taking any medications or supplements without the pre-approval of the IVF physician and shall take any supplements that IVF physician requests.

    6. Avoid traveling to any area that the CDC has advised as an area with active Zika infection. If there are any questions about a destination, the donor should consult with the IVF physician before traveling.

    7. Donor agrees to notify the IVF physician of any new sexual partners and to avoid any new sexual partner after completion of donor screening until retrieval is completed. The donor also agrees to have any new sexual partners tested prior to sex to avoid exposure to new STDs.

    8. Donor agrees to make all appointments on time and to make herself available as needed for this procedure.

    9. Donor agrees to be truthful with the agency, psychologist, geneticist, and IVF physician and understands that misrepresentations could cause her to be held personally liable in the future.

    10. Donor acknowledges that while all efforts to protect her anonymity will be used, the agency, clinic, and fertility attorneys cannot guarantee that offspring or Intended Parents will not be able to learn of her identity or reach out to her in the future through current or future technologies. Genetic testing done with companies like ancestry.com and  23-and-me have made these connections easier to make in some cases.

    11. In compliance with the recommendations of the IVF physician, Donor agrees to limit her physical activity during the time she is taking medications and for at least 10 days post retrieval to reduce her risk of complications.

    12. Donor agrees to follow any IVF physician recommendations about travel post-retrieval and assumes all risks and possible insurance coverage denials should she not follow travel recommendations.
