For the purposes of the Western Forest Products Inc. (and associated Western Lumber Sales Ltd., Western Forest Prducts US LLC. and Western Engineered Products LLC [WFP]) Chain of Custody certification and associated Due Diligence System (DDS), the following Supplier Declaration is provided.

To the best of our company’s (the Supplier's) knowledge, the fibre/ raw material provided to WFP originates from the location(s) listed below. The species and products supplied to WFP are as indicated.

Additionally, in support of the WFP DDS, it is acknowledged that a Dispute Resolution Process (DRP) is in place and may be accessed via a WFP Certification Representative.

Supplier acknowledges and declares that:

a) to the best of the Supplier’s knowledge, the supplied material was sourced legally or harvested with authorization from the appropriate government agency (where required).

b) as requested by WFP, the Supplier will make all reasonable attempts to provide information to identify the forest management unit(s) relating to the origin of the raw material (Forest Practice Permit number, Timber Brand/Mark, Forest Tenure number) and the whole supply chain of the supplied material. It is acknowledged this will NOT include confidential financial information.

c) for the purposes of the chain of custody certification, should an on-site inspection be required to confirm the fibre sourcing (i.e., geographic origin, legality of harvest, and/or supply chain), the Supplier will provide reasonable assistance to facilitate the inspection by WFP or by a relevant third-party organization.

d) should information from the Supplier change, (i.e., new source area, species, etc.), the Supplier will notify WFP and provide an updated Supplier Declaration.
