The Expanded Learning Policy Committee is continuing to develop, implement and maintain clear policies that support quality programs.Expanded Learning program policies will include the regulatory source and corresponding levels of program accountability. The Expanded Learning Policy Committee will also develop and implement a timely and collaborative process for reviewing, revising, and notifying the field of new and existing policies.This committee will be led by Expanded Learning Division (EXLD) Education Programs Consultant Kelly Faustino and by Danielle Jones,County Lead from the Stanislaus County Office of Education. Work Group Composition: Approximately 14-17 members from a diverse group of representatives from expanded learning programs and/or related fields. Previous experience in policy development is desirable. Work Group Commitment/Requirements:The team will meet in-person quarterly.The work commitment will be approximately 8-10 hours per month (or as needed).One year renewable commitment with the opportunity to participate for up to three years.Travel costs for committee members are not covered.Members are expected to attend a minimum of 80% of the meetings. All in-person meetings are held in Sacramento from 9:30-3:30. 2019-2020 meetings are as follows: November 5-6, 2019 (in person), February 5, 2020 (virtual), April 22, 2020 (in person), June 16, 2020 (virtual).
