Humility is Vital
'It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err." Mahatma Gandhi
A simple definition of humility from Webster's dictionary is, "not thinking you are better than others." We must embrace humility and understand that we are all equal and we travel through this thing called life together. We are in the same boat! Believing the delusion that you are better than anyone or less than anyone will sabotage your recovery in a split second. When we begin to compare ourselves to anybody rather than relating as human beings, we enter an unhealthy state of mind. Ultimately, we were all created the same way and we all end the same way. If we live that truth and genuinely relate to other human beings as extensions of ourselves, we will have a healthy life.
