In this Roundtable--the third in series walking through the Section's Class Action Strategy and Practice book--the two authors of the Settlement chapter, as well as a class action plaintiffs' attorney will explore the constantly evolving issues with settling class actions. Unlike individual settlements, class settlements require involving by the courts, which scrutinize such settlement much more closely than in the past. Hear about how to approach such settlements, and the common issues that cause courts to reject the parties' compromise.
