    Once you've submitted this form, we will contact you to finalize your application and confirm your participation in the festival. Once your participation is confirmed, we will follow up with logistical information regarding load-in, set-up, strike, etc.

      • Required Items for Acceptance

        In order for your application to be processed, you must have a valid Food Vending License, Food Truck License or Merchandise License and carry your own insurance.

      • Rain or Shine

        The event will take place regardless of weather conditions, and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

      • INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

        TasteUSA requirements for Certificates of Insurance are listed below. TasteUSA requires proof of insurance from all vendors who will be selling merchandise or food items (either for consumption onsite or for home consumption). Please request a Certificate of Insurance as specified below from your insurance provider.

        All Certificates of Insurance must:

        > Name the following two parties as Additional Insured:
        -TasteUSA Festival Management LLC, 1028 29th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20007 

        -Power Plant Live, with address of 34 Market Place Baltimore, MD 21202, Entertainment Consulting International, LLC; The Cordish Company; The Cordish Companies Inc.; 34 Market Place LLC


        > State minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability per occurence and $4,000,000 in Aggregate;

        > State minimum of $1,000,000 auto liability per accident for bodily injury and property damage;

        > State limits of $1,000,000/$500,000/$100,000 for worker's compensation

        > State Employer’s Liability Insurance providing bodily injury by accident, bodily injury by disease per policy, and bodily injury by disease per employee, with liability limits of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.

        Certificate of Insurance documents are due no later than May 1st, 2020. Our Logistics Team will reach out for these documents.

      • Sanitation Agreement

        On site trash and recycling receptacles are for guest's use only. Vendor must provide their own trash & recycling receptacles for any waste you produce. NO DUMPING ON SITE! $300 Fine!

        All vendors MUST maintain their space in a clean and sanitary condition and remove all waste before leaving the Festival. Cartons, boxes, etc. will not be allowed to pile up during the Festival. Food vendors MUST have a separate container for any food trimmings. No grease, cooking oils or leftover food will be dumped in the trashcans or on the grounds AT ALL. Please make plans to carry these items out with you. Food vendors MUST have a protective barrier or receptacle under working areas to catch any grease/oils spills. Violation of this is a direct breech of this agreement. Day of inspections by Alexandria Health Dept. will be carried out.

        Failure to leave your booth area in the condition in which it was received may result in a $300 Fine at the discretion of TasteUSA. Vendors preparing food shall make sufficient plans to dispose of grey water and/or grease through approved methods. Grease and grey water cannot be dumped in trash receptacles, flower beds, drains, grass, etc.

        By submitting this application you agree to pay this fee if you are caught dumping anything onsite.
